How One Company Is Redefining What Natural Means
When Rachel Winard decided to develop a line of natural skin-care products, she made sure that the word "natural" wasn't just a buzzword for her business. As the founder of Soapwalla, a Brooklyn-based company, Rachel makes all of her own goods by hand and is very particular about the ingredients she uses.
Based on research and through her experiences, she determines what ingredients will produce the most effective product. Through that process, she defines what natural means to her and how she implements this into every item she develops. In Rachel's own words, "If I refuse to put something in my body, I don't want it on my body."
