Ina Garten's Response to Jennifer Garner's Cooking Videos Is Just So Ina

Since December, Jennifer Garner has been channeling her inner Barefoot Contessa and posting the most heart-warming videos of herself cooking on Facebook. Called "The Pretend Cooking Show," Jennifer's homemade videos are nowhere near the production value of Ina Garten's shows, but her videos certainly have the same heart.

I remember watching the video the first time and immediately wondering what Ina thought about these videos. Was she secretly annoyed that people were comparing the two of them? Did she actually like the videos? Was she a little jealous? It turns out Ina's response to the videos are the most Ina thing ever.

When asked about Jennifer's video, Ina only had a few words to say according to People (and it's more fun if you read them in Ina's voice and cadence in your head).

"I love her videos so much, "says Ina. "She is adorable and smart and not at all performing — that's just who she is. I think she's really special."

It turns out that the two of them are actually friends. Three years ago when Barefoot Contessa was filming out in California, Ina asked if they could cook together after finding out that Jennifer was a fan of her cookbooks and TV show. Jennifer ended up inviting her to her own birthday party and the pair have been friends since.

Later, the two even shot an episode for Barefoot Contessa where Ina showed Jennifer how to make grilled swordfish with a tomato-caper sauce (yum).

Ina doesn't take any credit for the work that Jennifer is doing on her pretend cooking show. "We talked about it a little bit, but really she's doing this all on her own," says Ina. "And it's working — they're so charming."

Please keep the cooking videos coming, Jennifer. I'm not sure when you have time to do all this, raise kids, and be a movie star, but we appreciate it!
