How Anheuser-Busch Helped Texas Flood Victims
It's not every day that you hear about good things contributed by big food companies — and that includes big alcohol companies as well.
But last week, Anheuser-Busch made news after they halted production of their brews in their Georgia facility to fill cans with water instead.
Before you roll your eyes at canned water, you'll want to know where the water ended up. Anheuser-Busch sent off the cans of safe drinking water to help people affected by the Texas floods. They worked with the Red Cross to get the water delivered and distributed to folks in need.
It might have a small impact on their sales numbers, but will make a big impact on many Texans' lives.
