I consider my Amazon Prime membership to be worth the annual fee just to be able to watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and get free two-day shipping on books, but Amazon Prime memberships are about to get even better because now members can now order delivery from Whole Foods as well.

Amazon’s purchase of Whole Foods has meant a lot of changes for customers. According to TODAY.com, the company just announced that it would be improving its two-day shipping options. Now it’s offering free same-day shipping and one-day shipping on over 10,000 items, including a lot of items from Whole Foods.

Additionally, Prime members who live in areas where they can use Amazon Prime Now — Amazon’s two-hour delivery service that’s available in a lot of big cities and other markets — will be able to buy Whole Foods 365 brand products for two-hour delivery. If you live in an area where Prime Now is available and place an order before noon, you’ll usually get it in about two hours. If you place it after noon, you’ll get it the next day.

Two-hour delivery with Amazon Prime Now is free if your purchase includes more than $35 worth of qualifying items, and the service itself does not cost anything on top of the basic Prime membership.

Unfortunately, Amazon Prime Now is not available in all markets. I don’t have it, and I really wish I did. Now that Whole Foods 365 products are included, you can order paper towels, organic baby wash, kitty litter, and coffee and it will arrive at your door in just a couple hours. This would be particularly useful for anyone who wasn’t feeling well for whatever reason. You could just wake up, place an order for Whole Foods 365 Electrolyte-Enhanced Water and Pink Lemonade with B Vitamins, then curl up under the blankets to watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and wait for it to arrive.

Prime Now is not the same thing as Amazon Fresh, which is Amazon’s grocery-delivery program. Amazon Fresh costs an extra $14.99 per month, but it includes more fresh produce and meat options. But Amazon Fresh now includes Whole Foods 365 items, too.
