All I want to eat right now is soup. I want to warm my little apartment up with a big pot of something bubbling and nourishing, and I want to have friends over on a snowy day to share it with. You can try to convince me all you want that soup can be enjoyed in the summer (yes, I know gazpacho exists), but soup really is best right now. So let’s enjoy it while there’s snow on the ground.

If you, like me, are looking for inspiring recipes to get you through the winter months, I have good news. I asked 10 super-awesome bloggers to share the most-popular soup recipes on their blogs. It’s time to curl up and find your new favorite recipe.

1. Crockpot Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Soup from Chelsea’s Messy Apron

This is decidedly not a wimpy soup. It’s a cross between a chili and a soup, and it’s chock-full of chicken, beans, and green chilies. There’s also a bit of cream cheese in this soup (surprise!), which will make it extra creamy and delicious.

You might have seen some kind of version of this recipe on Pinterest before, and with good reason. This recipe is totally comforting and full of sausage, pasta, and spinach. It’s the kind of recipe you’d be happy to take to work on a cold day.

3. Broccoli Cheddar Soup from Little Broken

What is it about this classic soup that is so comforting? I’m thinking it’s the cheese. Any excuse to eat cheese, right? This recipe from Little Broken really delves deep into this special kind of comfort.

This vegan soup is all about balance. It gets is sweetness from the pear, some creaminess from the sweet potato and almond milk, and some spice from the croutons.

5. Slow-Cooker Zuppa Toscana from The Chunky Chef

This slow-cooker version of the Olive Garden classic hits the mark on winter comfort food. It’s filled with potatoes and meat, but there’s also kale (because every soup needs some greens).

6. Slow-Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup from Damn Delicious

If you don’t make some version of chicken noodle soup during the winter, what are you even doing with your life? This popular version from Damn Delicious uses spaghetti, and it’s made in the slow cooker.

7. Mexican Street Corn Soup from Striped Spatula

This soup recipe is probably best enjoyed during the height of summer, when corn is super fresh and plentiful. That doesn’t mean, however, that you can’t enjoy a bowl during January. I won’t tell anyone if you use frozen instead of fresh corn — I promise.

8. Turmeric Carrot Apple Soup from Dolly and Oatmeal

This vegan soup is warming and bright. It’s the perfect thing for a light lunch, or to serve with a hearty dinner. You can’t see it in the photo, but there’s a touch of coconut yogurt that really sets this thing over the top.

9. Potato, Leek, and Fennel Soup from Brooklyn Supper

This recipe has a bunch of tips that you can use to make a better soup. For example, the secret to making a creamier, more delicious potato soup, according to Brooklyn Supper, is to rice the potatoes. Who knew!

10. Vegetable Soup from Cooking Classy

Do you have a bunch of random leftover vegetables sitting in your fridge about to go bad? Throw them into this nourishing soup.
